This Privacy Policy explains how DIRIA LABS LTD ("Diria Labs", "we", "us") handles information in connection with the DearScenario Player software and the dearscenario.com website.

DearScenario Player is designed to operate locally and offline. We do not require accounts, license keys, or online activation, and we do not collect personal data through the software except as described below.

1. Scope

This Policy applies to:

• the DearScenario Player software distributed by Diria Labs, including its executable files, web console, configuration files, and bundled documentation;
• the dearscenario.com website and its subpages, including documentation and downloads.

It does not apply to third-party services, content management systems, show controllers, or integrations that you connect to DearScenario Player.

2. How the DearScenario Player Software Handles Data

2.1 Local operation, no remote telemetry

The Software does not require an account, license key, or online activation. It does not include automatic update checking, telemetry collection, or undisclosed background communication with Diria Labs servers.

2.2 Information stored on your device

The Software may store the following information locally on the device where it is installed:

• configuration files (for example, config.json);
• application logs and diagnostic information;
• playback state and saved on-site adjustments;
• cached metadata related to media files you load.

This information remains on your device unless you choose to share it (for example, by attaching log files when reporting an issue).

2.3 Network control commands

DearScenario Player is designed to receive local or network-based playback commands. The Software processes these commands locally on your device and does not forward them to Diria Labs. You are responsible for configuring DearScenario Player securely, including controlling which network interfaces and ports are exposed, restricting access to trusted devices, and using authentication tokens or other security controls where available.

2.4 Future opt-in online features

Future versions of the Software may include optional online features such as opt-in crash reporting, diagnostic uploads, or update notifications. Any such feature will:

• require your explicit activation;
• be clearly described before activation;
• not transmit data without your consent.

3. How the Website Handles Data

3.1 Server logs

Our website hosting provider may automatically record standard request information (such as IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp, and referrer) in server logs for the purposes of operating the site, diagnosing problems, and protecting against abuse. These logs are retained for a limited period and are not used to build personal profiles.

3.2 No analytics or tracking pixels

dearscenario.com does not currently use third-party analytics platforms, advertising trackers, behavioral tracking pixels, or cross-site identifiers. We do not set tracking cookies. We do not sell your personal data.

3.3 Fonts and embedded resources

The website uses system fonts provided by the visitor's operating system and browser. It does not load third-party web fonts, so font delivery does not involve a separate font CDN.

3.4 Community forum

Links from dearscenario.com and from the DearScenario Player software may take you to the community forum at forums.dearscenario.com. That site is operated by Diria Labs under a separate privacy notice published there. Information you choose to post or submit on the forum (including account details and message content) is processed according to that notice.

3.5 Email contacts

If you email support@dearscenario.com or hello@dearscenario.com, we will receive your email address, message content, and any information you choose to share. We use this information only to respond to your inquiry and maintain a record of our correspondence.

4. Security Reports

If you wish to report a security vulnerability, email support@dearscenario.com. Reports are treated confidentially and used only to investigate and remediate the reported issue.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data and do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes. We may share limited information with service providers (for example, hosting and email providers) that act on our behalf and only to the extent necessary to operate the website and respond to you.
